In keeping with St. John's global mission, the Office of International Education strives to create innovative programs abroad that encourage students to live, study and volunteer outside of the U.S. And our amazing students hear that call—over 40% of undergraduates study abroad before commencement, handily outpacing the national average.

Explore our programs:
Semester Programs - Whether you study in one country or three, St. John's offers you a semester full of cultural exploration and immersion through our Western Europe Semester, Discover Italy and Discover France semester programs.  Open to students of all majors through a wide variety of core and language courses, with major-specific options in Biology, Pharmacy, Education, English, Business, Government & Politics and more!

Semester Exchange Programs - For the more independent student, we offer a variety of exchange programs with partner universities around the world, including Sweden, Japan, England, Australia, Chile and more!  Immerse yourself in university life abroad by attending courses with local and other international students, and exploring your major through a different cultural lens!  

Short-Term Programs - St. John's offers a wide range of short-term, faculty-directed programs all over the world, with travel ranging from 7 days to 2 months.  Travel around the globe with top faculty from your departments, fulfilling degree requirements and gaining an international edge on your academics... and your resume!  And you can go from day one!!  First-year students have the option to explore one of their core requirements through the Global Passport Program!  For only $500!!

Graduate Programs - St. John's has multiple opportunities for graduate students to take courses abroad, whether it's a short-term program through your department, or a semester abroad as part of your MBA or MA degree.
